Photo diary: A perfect evening in Lisbon

My last evening in Lisbon was one where everything just came together. When travelling, I typically plan my days so that I know where my meals will be, but this spontaneous evening was perfect.

I started at Castelo de São Jorge. My favorite experience in Lisbon was enjoying a glass of port and the views over the city. Afterward, I stopped at the Miradouro das Portas do Sol viewpoint before wandering the winding streets of the Alfama and hunting for colorful tiles. Along the way, I stumbled across a charming restaurant, Fado na Morgadinha. It was too cute to resist, so I asked if they had gluten-free options, and they directed me toward the frango à brás, a mix of chicken, potatoes, eggs and onions that ended up being the best meal of my trip. As a bonus, during dinner, I got to take in a traditional Fado show. Here are some photos of my evening.
